The IHE Connectathon SEAL is a new IHE mechanism to recognize a vendor's interoperability capability.
It's granted to Vendors who have successfully completed testing of IHE profiles at an IHE Connectathon event.
Scope
Recognition of Interoperability
The IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) Connectathon SEAL is a recognition awarded to vendors demonstrating outstanding interoperability capabilities within the healthcare sector. This hallmark of excellence is granted exclusively to those who have successfully completed rigorous testing of IHE profiles at an IHE Connectathon event, showcasing their commitment to enhancing healthcare interoperability, setting themselves apart as leaders in the field.
By meeting and surpassing these rigorous standards, they not
only underscore their dedication to enhancing healthcare through seamless integration but also signal to the industry their pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare technology
Advantages for Vendors
The evidence of successful IHE CAT participation
The IHE Connectathon SEAL is the only official international attestation by IHE, it signifies excellence and successful participation in an IHE Connectathon, setting these vendors apart as leaders in the field. It’s the evidence of the successful testing of one or more IHE profiles in one or more system-under-test. This endorsement acts as a clear and formal marker indication of a vendor's compliance to established interoperability standards and their commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
The indicator of quality in interoperability level of product
The SEAL recognizes the tested system's interoperability capabilities rather than assuring conformity between the system tested and any specific product or version: it’s not a Product Assurance, it’s a validation of interoperability excellence. By earning the SEAL, vendors signal to the market their serious commitment to interoperability, showcasing their products' ability to integrate seamlessly within the healthcare ecosystem, thereby elevating the standard of care through technology.
